Hey, I’m Arielle — the founder of Sapphire Consulting & Bookkeeping.
Before I started this business, I spent nearly 7 years working in public service finance. But deep down, I knew I was built for something different. I wanted to work with people, not just behind the scenes. Plus, I was missing too many moments with my kids — and that just wasn’t the life I signed up for.
So I traded in the cubicle for a calculator (and a heck of a lot more freedom) and started working with the kinds of people I admire most: general contractors and trade business owners who are juggling big dreams, tight schedules, and financial chaos they don’t want to deal with.
Truth is, I’ve been obsessed with numbers since I was a kid — and bookkeeping became my passion the moment I discovered it in my twenties. Now, I help construction and trade businesses across Alberta get their books under control and their financial systems running like a well-oiled machine.
When I’m not organizing someone’s Chart of Accounts or building out job costing systems, you’ll find me homeschooling my two boys, working in the garden, or tending to our family’s growing homestead.
